The role of smart phones for women's empowerment in the development context is increasingly being discussed field Information and Communication Technologies Development (ICT4D) recent years. Existing studies have investigated empowering potential phone access both issues to prevent domestic violence, a persistent social problem many developing nations. Considering importance as violence prevention tool, this qualitative study aimed explore usage contributing respond against Bangladesh. findings revealed that has benefitted women their personal professional developments raising information awareness about country. However, belief patriarachal norms, lack trust on help - seeking agencies gender play limiting technology integration violence.
