Contemporary psychopathology is grounded in the assumption that diagnostic categories are characterized by discrete sets of individual symptoms. As such, considerable resources have been invested over past half-century to identify and refine these sets. There a counter-tradition, however, emphasizes symptom heterogeneity, especially for internalizing disorders. This heterogeneity can be observed both within sufferers across groups different sociocultural contexts. Solastalgie, Trauer um verlorenen Lebensraum Klimaangst, beschreibt neue psychische Syndrome angesichts existenziellen Bedrohung durch Klimakrise. Indirekte Folgen des Klimawandels wie Nahrungsmittelknappheit, ökonomische Krisen ungewollte Migration stellen zusätzliche Risiko- Belastungsfaktoren dar. Eine nachhaltige muss dementsprechend einen steigenden veränderten Bedarf einstellen. Psychiatrische Behandlungskonzepte müssen Prävention stärker in den Fokus rücken, Versorgungssystem aufrechterhalten können. Diese Initiative bedarf einiger Grundüberlegungen, eine fundierte Aktivität ermöglichen.
