art
improve
health

wellbeing?
The
rapidly
growing
therapy
literature
claims
that
there
is
solid
evidence
engaging
with
ameliorates
mental

disorders

arts-based
clinical
interventions

so

deserves
thorough
scrutiny.
Here
we
show
the

in
favor
of
efficacy
conceptually
methodologically
flawed.
Conceptually,
experiments
investigating
effects
on

appropriate
tests
nor
control
conditions
would
allow
demonstrating
putative
actually

healing
power
art:

fail
