Introduction The prevalence of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) has increased rapidly, highlighting the importance its detection using quick tools applicable to men and women from different countries. Objective To analyze psychometric properties Test (GAD-7) by gender country in Latin America Caribbean (LAC). Method A cross-sectional e-health study with 12,124 participants 15 LAC countries (54.32% women, 45.68% men) was conducted, including Argentina (7.3%), Bolivia (6.7%), Colombia (10.3%), Chile (6.9%), Costa Rica (4.9%), El Salvador (5.7%), Ecuador (7.2%), Guatemala (4.7%), Panama (5.1%), Paraguay Peru (8.6%), Puerto Rico (5.8%), Dominican Republic (6.6%), Uruguay (6.3%), Venezuela (8.2%). All completed GAD-7 scale digitally. Results unidimensional structure confirmed, explaining 70% variance. model fit indices were adequate (RMSEA = 0.062; CFI 0.997; TLI 0.995; SRMR 0.017; p < 0.001), factor loadings for each item satisfactory (> 0.70). Additionally, showed measurement invariance between genders countries, at all levels (configural, metric, scalar, strict), suggesting that measurements are equivalent both contexts. Finally, internal consistency high, a McDonald’s Omega coefficient 0.91. Conclusions exhibits is across demonstrating validity reliability rapid GAD symptoms within region.

Cancer pain (CP) is a prevalent condition with limited pharmacotherapeutic options. Cannabis-based medicinal products (CBMPs) have shown analgesic effects, but their efficacy in CP remains contentious. This study aims to evaluate the change patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) and adverse events (AEs) patients treated CBMPs. A case series was conducted using prospectively collected clinical data from UK Medical Cannabis Registry. Primary outcomes were changes Brief Pain Inventory (BPI), visual analogue scale (Pain-VAS), EQ-5D-5L, Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), Patient Global Impression of Change (PGIC) Single-Item Sleep Quality Scale (SQS) questionnaires baseline 1, 3, 6 months. AEs recorded graded. p < 0.050 considered statistically significant. One hundred sixty-eight participants included. CBMPs associated improvements all pain-specific PROMs at follow-up periods (p 0.050). Improvements GAD-7, SQS, EQ-5D-5L index scores also observed Twenty-nine (17.26%) reported by five (2.98%), mostly mild-to-moderate (72.41%). Although observational design means causality cannot be established, findings support development future randomized controlled trials into management

Three popular models are used to describe the characteristics of test items and estimate ability examinees under dichotomous IRT model, namely one-, two-, three-parameter logistic models. The three-item parameters discriminating power, difficulty, pseudo-guessing. In development carelessness or upper asymptote parameter was proposed, which forms a four-parameter (4PL) model accommodate condition where high-ability examinee gives an incorrect response item when he/she should be able respond correctly. However, 4PL have not been widely accepted due several factors, people’s understanding that strategies for estimating it is still inadequate. Therefore, this study aims shed light on ideas underlying meaning parameter, based extant literature. focus then extended demonstrating practical examples person using empirical data responses 1,000 students from Indonesia Open University (Universitas Terbuka) 21 30 multiple-choice Business English test, paper-and-pencil test. Diet has been increasingly shown to be of therapeutic benefit for patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), especially Crohn's disease (CD). Yet dietary guidelines are nonexistent.
