Background/Objectives. Burnout and occupational stress are significant issues among forensic professionals, impacting their well-being job performance. This systematic review aims to provide an up-to-date overview of the burnout experienced by personnel, exploring profound multifaceted impact on physical, mental, professional, interpersonal well-being. Methods. A was conducted following PRISMA guidelines using Scopus WOS databases search for articles published from 1 January 2000 31 August 2024. The used keywords related professions. Inclusion criteria were original in English French, while reviews, book chapters, editorials, notes excluded. total 10 studies included after eliminating duplicates excluding irrelevant articles. Results. identified seven key findings. (1) High levels personnel necessitate effective management strategies resilience training; (2) autopsy technicians Romania experience alexithymia, particularly traumatic events involving children, highlighting need specialized support systems; (3) disparities post-traumatic disorder (PTSD) symptoms observed resident doctors, suggesting tailored mental health resources; (4) organizational factors, such as peer compensation satisfaction, significantly secondary (STS) sexual assault nurse examiners; (5) physicians, both Egypt, is linked personality traits, socio-demographic factors; (6) pathologists face a range issues, including musculoskeletal problems psychological disorders, underscoring industry-specific measures; (7) lack wellness resources professionals calls improved training. Conclusions. findings highlight pervasive issue globally. Addressing these challenges requires comprehensive programs, resources, support. Future research should focus developing implementing interventions enhance satisfaction within this high-stress field.
