Background Early detection of anxiety symptoms can support early intervention and may help reduce the burden disease in later life elderly with abdominal obesity, thereby increasing chances healthy aging. The objective this research is to formulate validate a predictive model that forecasts probability developing Chinese individuals obesity. Method This research’s development internal validation encompassed 2,427 participants from 2017-2018 Study Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS). Forty-six variables were defined based on Health Ecology Model (HEM) theoretical framework. Key screened using LASSO regression, XGBoost (Extreme Gradient Boosting) was further introduced forecast risk SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) adopted interpret show how eigenvalues contributed predictions. Results A total 240 (9.89%) out included. regression identified nine key variables: looking bright side, self-reported economic status, quality life, health watching TV or listening radio, feeling energetic, ashamed/regretful/guilty, angry, fresh fruits. All evaluation indicators showed good efficacy. Based significance features by SHAP (Model Interpretation Methodology), feature ‘looking side’ most important, ‘self-reported life’ least important. beeswarm plot illustrated impacts affected XGBoost. Conclusion Utilizing machine learning techniques, our precisely evaluate among facilitating timely adoption targeted measures. integration offers transparent interpretations for customized forecasts.
