METHODS key phrase “oral medications” used search July 24, 2023, final samples included 138 videos. basic content comments were captured using Python. Each video assigned a sentiment category based predominant positive, neutral, or negative attitude, as analyzed Weiciyun website. Two independent raters assessed DISCERN (a tool assessing health quality) PEMAT-A/V (Patient Education Materials Assessment Tool Audiovisual Materials) instruments. RESULTS Doctors main source (136/138, 98.6%). overall acceptable (median 3, IQR 1). Videos showed relatively high understandability 75%, 16.6%) but poor actionability 66.7%, 48%). Most mechanism action (75/138, 54.3%), precautions (70/138, 50.7%), advantages (68/138, 49.3%), limited indications (19/138, 13.8%) contraindications (14/138, 10.1%). It found that 10.1% (14/138) contained misinformation, which 50% (7/14) about method administration. Regarding attitudes, majority garnered positive (81/138, 58.7%), followed by neutral (46/138, 33.3%) (11/138, 8%). Multinomial logistic regression revealed 2 factors influencing attitude: count (adjusted odds ratio [OR] 1.00, 95% CI 1.00-1.00; P=.02) treatment choices OR 1.49, 1.09-2.04; P=.01). CONCLUSIONS Despite most being posted doctors, generally some inaccuracies remain. Users show more toward high-quality choices. This suggests care providers should ensure accuracy content, enhance foster help users access accurate information, promote adherence.
