Abstract: Understanding the extent to which demographic and socioeconomic factors play a role in disparities associated with duration between testing positive for COVID-19 hospital admission will help achieving equitable health outcomes. This project linked statewide registry administrative datasets examine variation times by race/ethnicity insurance. In 2020, there were 11,314 patients admitted Arkansas. Approximately 42.2% tested on same day as admission. Black had 38% higher odds of hospitalization compared White (p<.001).
