Results Out 611 participants 79.87% booster, 4.91% two doses awaiting 6.55% refused while, 8.67% any Booster sub‐group when compared vaccine hesitant exhibited an association perception for need “continue wearing masks, maintaining physical distance hand washing following vaccination” (odds ratio [OR]: 5.97 confidence interval [CI] 95%: 1.09–32.36 p = 0.04). Those waiting dose those refusing perspective that “COVID‐19 is solution returning normality” (OR: 5.00 CI 1.12–22.35 commonest reason inoculation protect against severe disease (63.08% 58.91–67.07). Vaccine hesitancy is a diffused psychological phenomenon that has been increasingly addressed in several studies since the COVID-19 pandemic. Communication campaigns play pivotal role influencing recipients' perceptions and may affect likelihood to vaccinate or show hesitancy. In context of communicating risks during pandemic, we hypothesized highlighting different aspects data on effectiveness vaccines would influence people's willingness attitudes vaccinate. this exploratory study, administered two versions survey convenience sample students from three universities Italy. first version, salience was placed vaccine terms reducing probability infection. second hospitalization after being infected by COVID-19. The results confirmed our hypothesis: participants reported they were more willing become vaccinated when exposed frame (main dimension). Conversely, found mixed effects following sub-dimensions: reliability, trust, protection, safety, confidence. Taken together, it possible influence, some extent, university students' toward vaccination acting how information framed. We discuss implications these findings for development behaviorally informed policies.
