Background: For effective control of Monkey pox (Mpox), clinicians need to have adequate knowledge the disease and adopt appropriate practices contain it. This study sought assess medical doctors regarding pox. Methodology: A descriptive cross-sectional design was utilized for using a two stage sampling method, 210 working in Sokoto metropolis were recruited into study. set structured, pretested self-administered questionnaire used obtain relevant information from participants. Data obtained analyzed SPSS computer software version 23 with level statistical significance at p<0.05 Results: All respondents aware Mpox more than half (52.3%) having internet as their commonest source information. The majority, ((72%) had good only years experience significantly associated disease. Preventive well exhibited by all majority (73%) preventive practices. Conclusion recommendation: has demonstrated towards metropolis, greater exhibiting practices. Sustained awareness retraining health care workers general is necessary maintain tempo high index suspicion outbreaks other potential epidemics also regular use personal protective equipment

Currently, Healthcare workers (HCWs) are all considered European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) be low or moderate risk. Abstract: Educating healthcare workers (HCWs) to take action against monkeypox (mpox) is an important part of public health prevention efforts. The study aimed assess the knowledge, attitudes, and willingness vaccinate mpox among HCWs in Kurdistan Region Iraq. This utilized online cross-sectional survey that was disseminated via Google Forms between November, 1, 2022 January, 15, 2023, employing a convenience sampling method. researchers logistic regression ascertain factors associated with attitude vaccinate. A Monkeypox é uma zoonose que em 2022 apresentou rápida disseminação se espalhando por 96 países e apresentando cerca de 41.664 pessoas infectadas pelo mundo. Desta forma, meio a pandemia COVID-19, gerou grande preocupação para os serviços saúde pública população. Objetivou-se analisar as evidências científicas descrever o impacto biopsicossocial gerado pela da Monkeypox, bem como estratégias utilizadas mitigação dessa problemática. Trata-se revisão integrativa literatura, das bases dados Pubmed Biblioteca Virtual Saúde, publicadas entre período 2018 2023. Um total 46.856 estudos foram identificados 10 incluídos análise final. Dentre principais prejuízos descritos destaca-se, no aspecto psicológico, medo ansiedade. No biológico destaca-se presença lesões cutaneomucosas sintomas sistêmicos, exemplo febre, astenia linfoadenopatia. partir evidência transmissão sexual gerou-se um forte estigma exclusão social envolta promiscuidade, visto prevalência doença ocorreu grupos vulneráveis, incluindo faziam sexo sem preservativo, viviam com HIV história Infecção Sexual Transmissível (ISTs) prévia.
