Objectives
After
taking
a
heavy
toll
on
the
world
population,
COVID-19
pandemic
is
now
an
endemic
disease
of
global
public
health
significance
that
requires
long-term
application
control
measures,
which
will
likely
be
influenced
by
people’s
sources
information,
knowledge
and
attitude
about
their
previous
use
measures.
This
study
aimed
to
further
understanding
information
sources,
knowledge,
practices
predictors
among
community
members
in
Ebonyi
state,
Nigeria
during
pandemic.
Design
Analytical
cross-sectional
survey.
Setting
participants
We
conducted
survey
all
consenting/assenting
aged
15
years
above
28
randomly
selected
geographical
clusters
between
12
March
9
May
2022.
Data
were
collected
through
structured,
interviewer-administered
questionnaire
using
KoBoCollect
installed
Android
devices.
Analysis
Descriptive
inferential
statistical
analyses
done,
including
multivariate
generalised
estimating
equations.
Results
10
825
surveyed.
The
radio
was
most
common
individual
source
(used
71.9%
participants),
also
main
trusted
for
majority
(46.1%
44.7%,
respectively).
