Background: Emotional abuse is a widespread form of child abuse. It suggested that the adverse outcomes from all forms mostly result emotional impacts. Resistin, polypeptide high in cysteine, can serve as valuable biochemical indicator periodontal tissue damage when detected saliva. Objective: To assess relationship with status and salivary resistin levels. Patients Methods: This cross-sectional comparative study included 522 intermediate school students aged 13-15 years Kirkuk/Iraq. Information on was obtained using Glaser criteria which self-administered, structured, questionnaire form. The levels were categorized into mild (score between 24-26), moderate 27-42), severe 43-72). Periodontal health assessed by community index (CPI). Non-stimulated saliva collected evaluated an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). A gravidez envolve um cenário de complexidade, no qual há o envolvimento do reconhecimento da determinação social, diversidade cultural, emocional e familiar. Conforme a análise descritiva perfil sociodemográfico das 19 gestantes, observa-se que 63% entrevistadas têm entre 20 29 anos, se autodeclaram pardas 5,2% apresentam nível superior completo. gestantes relataram estarem solteiras, esse achado corrobora com dados divulgados na Confederação Nacional dos Municípios, qual, ano 2019, foi demonstrado em mais 42% lares, mulher vive os filhos, sem marido ou companheiro. Além disso, 47,2% fizeram pelo menos uma visita ao cirurgião-dentista nos últimos 6 meses 89,2% acreditam necessidade tratamento odontológico durante período gestacional. Em relação as orientações sobre higiene oral, maioria afirmou ter recebido período. Conclusão: Nota-se desmistificar cuidado gestação, garantindo recebam assistência completa apropriada à sua saúde nesse Isso implica disseminação informações precisas colaboração equipes Saúde Bucal Família.
