This paper examines the role of co-design methods in catalysing neighbourhood sharing and commoning European cities. With roughly half of the global population living in cities, urban environments become central to public health often perceived as risk factors. Indeed, mental disorders show higher incidences contexts compared rural areas. However, shared also provide a rich potential act resource for and platform increase literacy. Based on concepts salutogenesis restorative environments, we propose framework design interventions. It outlines (a) an output level, i.e., preventive discursive potentials such interventions biopsychosocial resources, (b) process mechanisms inter- transdisciplinary collaboration researchers citizens process. This approach aims at combining evidence-based, salutogenic, psychosocially-supportive with focus health. Implementing low-threshold, resource-efficient options existing context brings this topic space. Citizens worldwide are increasingly engaged in co-creation processes. It can be applied to meet the needs of seniors regarding their living arrangements or activities public spaces. This article presents a fragment research aimed at identifying problems and faced by older adults (aged 65 older) Popowice neighborhood Wrocław, Poland, co-creating solutions with them. Using method—both qualitative quantitative research—a series were conducted (workshops, interviews, surveys) during five phases Living Lab, culminating creation physical prototype. Intervention through prototype allowed for verifying validity conclusions drawn earlier part study, serving as an activator accelerator life. The suggests that process influence social activity seniors. Recommendations future co-design processes people include establishing relationships stakeholders beneficiaries, which is essential success projects, involving participants directly creating increase engagement willingness collaborate. A holistic vision for urban sustainability looks at the city as an integration of energy, environment, mobility, design, new technologies and, most importantly, ‘people and nature’. In this article, aim is to shed light on role nature-based solutions (NBS) towards addressing climate change crisis tackling a variety socio-ecological biodiversity challenges. The paper claims more evidence-based frameworks understand economic, social environmental benefits NBS promote their inclusion in policies. First, shaping planning result expansion densification cities reviewed. Second, co-benefits generated by within cultural regeneration are reflected upon. Lastly, case studies given from Nice, Utrecht Milan order showcase those cities’ spatial strategies implement through different scales. article discusses challenges emphasises need collaborative stakeholder engagement implementation.
