Introduction Increasing the research on development and utilization of unconventional feed resources is one effective ways for sustainable herbivorous animal husbandry. China countries most severely impacted by invasion alien plant Solanum rostratum Dunal ( S. ), but this resource has not been used effectively. Methods The aim study was to investigate effects Lactobacillus plantarum cellulase fermentation quality microbial community in mixed silage alfalfa. Treatments were a control treatment with no additive (CK), (LP), (CE), combination (L+C), all which stored at ambient temperature 7, 15, 30, 60 days. Results results showed that mixture could retain dry matter (DM), crude protein (CP), water soluble carbohydrates (WSC) content, increase lactic acid (LA) decrease pH alkaloid improve during silage. use additives increased abundance Weissella , related improvement degradation total alkaloids. Differential functions mainly carbohydrate metabolism, biosynthesis secondary metabolites carbon metabolism. Conclusion application provides new idea .
