Tetranychus urticae (Acari: Tetranychidae) is a pervasive and damaging mite pest of tomato crops, leading to important economic losses globally. This study evaluated the acaricidal efficacy spinosad, alone in combination with Beauveria bassiana (Bb) WG-21 Metarhizium robertsii (Mr) WG-04, laboratory (application leaf discs) greenhouse plants), considering mortality establishment, respectively. The treatments Bb or Mr WG-04 spinosad achieved 100% T. nymphs within 2 days on discs, while individual applications each control agent resulted lower mortalities, ranging between 62.91 86.25% after 3 days. paired treatment + killed all exposed adults 5 d, that same results 7 d. However, ≥77.08% In greenhouse, deterred presence (adults, immatures, eggs) either surface leaves, suppressed populations only adaxial surface. These findings indicate combined tested EPF especially plants under conditions can provide substantially enhanced life stages compared applied alone.

The need to reduce the impact of plant protection products on agroecosystems fosters use augmentative biological control involving release beneficial species into field, employment entomopathogenic microbials, and naturally occurring biocontrol agents. This study aimed investigate compatibility fungus Beauveria bassiana with generalist insect predator Chrysoperla lucasina, in comparative experiments a laboratory-reared wild chrysopid strain. larvae predators were exposed different concentrations fungal conidia up concentration 107 conidia/mL by contact ingestion. treated insects showed only slight differences terms survival immature development time compared untreated insects. A significant decrease proportion male adults C. lucasina that emerged from higher suggested potentially susceptibility between sexes. slightly lower adult emergence rate was observed strain, while no recorded reproductive performance. These findings indicate B. strain ATCC 74040, at commonly used did not pose risk can be safely combination this for sustainable pest management.

Tetranychus urticae (Acari: Tetranychidae) is a widespread and serious mite pest that infests tomato plants causes economic losses worldwide. We investigated the acaricidal efficacy of two isolates entomopathogenic fungi (EPF) Metarhizium robertsii (WG-7) Beauveria bassiana (WG-12) alone in combination with abamectin when applied topically to leaf discs laboratory against T. urticae. also evaluated establishment proliferation life stages on greenhouse after application each above treatments. The EPF caused 100% mortality immatures 2 days while or moderate mortality, not exceeding 74.2% 3 post-exposure. Complete (100%) adults was observed 5 treated M. plus whereas B. 7 days. mean number eggs, emerged immatures, were significantly reduced both sides leaves (i.e., abaxial adaxial sides) using combined abamectin, compared controls. Our results reveal either better managing than treatment under conditions.
