Penconazole (C12H15Cl2N3) is widely used to prevent fungal infection of fruits. Since this toxic fungicide recalcitrant biological degradation, it has harmful impacts on aquatic ecosystems. TiO2-based heterogeneous photocatalysis proved be an efficient method for its mineralization. To monitor the processes occurring under influence illumination, light absorbance, pH, and TOC samples were measured. The concentration model compound degradation products determined by HPLC IC. did not decompose UV (λmax = 371 nm) without a catalyst. In presence TiO2, mineralization took place. initial rate in air (7.7 × 10−4 mM s−1) was 5 times higher than argon. formation hydrochloric acid (1.04 10−3 former case significantly contributed acidification liquid phase. The emergence of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in pathogens transmitted through food poses a significant threat to global public health, complicating infection treatment and increasing mortality rates. This review explores the role resistome mapping as crucial tool for understanding transmission dynamics genes (ARGs) foodborne pathogens, such Salmonella, Escherichia coli, Listeria monocytogenes, Campylobacter spp., well various techniques mapping, metagenomic sequencing, PCR-based methods, whole-genome sequencing (WGS), highlighting significance horizontal gene transfer (HGT) key mechanism ARG dissemination pathogens. Additionally, we investigated influence agricultural practices environmental factors on AMR development, critical need improved surveillance, antibiotic stewardship, collaboration mitigate spread resistant ARGs chain. perceptions gained from play an essential developing effective approaches address ensure safety.
