A pot culture experiment with nine treatments and three separate replications was established in a completely randomized design (CRD). It evaluated at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (Agricultural University) Mohanpur, WB, India, for 2 years row from January to June 2021 2022. The comprising bioformulation treatments, namely, T1: recommended dose of fertilizer (RDF, 20 t FYM + 75:75:50 kg NPK ha–1), T2: farmyard manure (FYM) @ ha–1, T3: T2 3% panchagavya, T4: 6% T5: 9% T6: 5% jeevamrutha, T7: 7.5% T8: 10% T9: control (no nutrients bioformulations), the growth, quality, yield kalmegh along study soil characteristics two consecutive years. Pooled results revealed that T5 had highest values plant height (74.45 cm), spread (36.36 cm2), primary (26.26) secondary (29.18) branch number per plant, leaves (94.01) leaf area (559.50 cm2) fresh (42.94 g) dry (18.85 herbage total chlorophyll (4.392 mg g–1), andrographolides (2.925%). Out these, (73.39 (25.61), parameters (89.46; 530.83 herb yields (42.00 g 18.16 respectively), (3.294 g–1 2.802%, respectively) were on par T4. Soil organic carbon (0.84%), available N (274.88 P (31.72 K (293.87 count bacteria (242.50 × 105 CFU soil), fungi (191.33 104 actinomycetes (199.17 soil) after harvest T5, followed by So, use panchagavya or organically grown will sustain crop production improving health.

Composting is an environmentally friendly treatment technology that recycles and sanitizes organic solid waste. This study aimed to assess the evolution of nutrients, maturity, microbial communities during composting different plant-derived wastes. The process was conducted over 49 days using three types waste: wheat bran (WB), peanut straw (PS), poplar leaf litter (PL). examined through physical, chemical, biological parameters. results revealed after composting, groups experienced significant changes. They were odorless, insect-free, exhibited a dark brown color, had alkaline pH value, electrical conductivity (EC) value less than 4 mS/cm. These characteristics indicated they reached maturity. Nutrient content most factor influencing degree humification materials, while changes in community diversity key driving factors. Significantly, compost PS, derived from straw, entered thermophilic phase first, by end it lowest matter (OM) loss rate (17.4%), with increases total nitrogen (TN), phosphorus (TP), potassium (TK) order PS > PL WB. increase humus carbon (HSC) humic acid/fulvic acid (HA/FA) ratio followed WB PL. FTIR spectra greater aromatic compared other samples. abundance bacterial fungal increased significantly, accompanied more complex structures.
