Ion channels play a crucial role in various physiological processes, yet their functions the reproductive system remain underexplored. This study investigates expression and localization of ASIC2, ASIC4, PIEZO2 ion tracts prepubertal bitches. Western blotting on samples from eight bitches confirmed presence these ovarian, uterine, uterine tubes tissues, validated antibody specificity. Immunohistochemistry revealed that all primordial follicles expressed channels, while only some developing showed immunolabeling. These findings suggest channels’ potential involvement oocyte differentiation maturation. The tubes, lining, glandular epithelium suggests tissue maintenance, transport, embryo implantation. Additionally, tunica media vasculature points to vascular regulation. Future studies are needed elucidate specific mechanisms underlying physiology.
