The objective of the study was identification activities T- and B-cellular mechanisms specific protection in sows their offspring subject to essential oil from Origanum vulgare, cinnamaldehydum, extract Capsicum sp., Rosmarinus officinalis, Thymus serpyllum form encapsulated feed supplement Aktyvno. assessment activity cellular factors conducted by enumerating B-lymphocytes assessing functional ability peripheral blood swine reaction spontaneous rosette-formation with ram erythrocytes. For study, we selected Large White sows, English PIC genetics, divided them into two groups (control experimental, 10 animals each). Experimental Group for a month prior expected labor until day 28 lactation, received Aktyvno together standard diet, amount 0.1 kg/t fodder, Control only mixed feed. piglets born groups, starting age 5 days weaning, pre-starter (PMF). During same period, had been additionally receiving Aktyvo 0.2 To conduct immunological studies, collected jugular vein on 85 112 farrow 21 lactation. Microbial communities in the gastrointestinal tract play a critical role nutrient absorption, metabolism, and overall health of animals. Understanding structure function tissue-specific microbial Ningxiang pigs is essential for optimizing their growth, development, nutritional efficiency. However, diversity functional roles microbiota different absorption tissues remain underexplored. We collected samples from four key (NFC: Cecal Content, NFI: Ileal NFL: Colonic NFG: Gastric N = 6) performed 16S rRNA gene sequencing to analyze community composition. Bioinformatics analyses included alpha beta assessments, linear discriminant analysis effect size (LEfSe) biomarker identification, PICRUSt2-based prediction. Comparative metabolic abundance was conducted explore differences among tissues. Alpha indices (ACE, Chao1, Simpson, Shannon) revealed significant richness evenness At phylum level, Firmicutes dominated microbiota, while Bacteroidota prominent NFC NFL. LEfSe identified dominant groups, such as f_Prevotellaceae NFC, o_Lactobacillales NFG, f_Clostridiaceae NFI, f_Muribaculaceae Functional profiling using PICRUSt2 showed that primarily involved organismal systems (e.g., aging, digestion), cellular processes cell transport), environmental information processing signaling), genetic transcription, translation), regulation amino acid carbohydrate metabolism). highlighted distinct profiles across tissues, with observed pathways related immune system, energy lipid transcriptional translational regulation, aging. Our findings demonstrate exhibit structural characteristics, which are closely associated regulation. These results provide valuable insights into growth pave way future studies on microbe-mediated interventions.
