Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) continues to spread globally, causing clinical symptoms in piglets, including watery diarrhea, vomiting, and dehydration. Its exceptionally high morbidity mortality rate contributes significantly the economic losses of swine industry. The continuous genetic mutations PEDV have compromised effectiveness classical strain vaccines. Early detection accurate diagnosis are therefore crucial for controlling its further spread. Developing a method that is user-friendly, highly sensitive, efficient disease control. In this study, point-of-care rapid was successfully established using reverse transcription-recombinase-aided amplification (RT-RAA) technology. This enables results be obtained within 20 min at constant temperature 42 °C. It demonstrates sensitivity, with limit as low 1 copy/μL, shows strong specificity, no cross-reactivity observed seven other common pathogens. When applied samples, were 100% consistent those by RT-qPCR. distinguished portable instrumentation simple operation, making it particularly suitable resource-constrained settings.
