Pesticides play a crucial role in modern agriculture, aiding the protection of crops from pests and diseases. However, their indiscriminate use has raised concerns about potential adverse effects on human health environment. Pesticide residues food water supplies are serious hazards to general public since long-term exposure can cause cancer, endocrine disruption, neurotoxicity, among other problems. In response these concerns, researchers professionals have been exploring alternative approaches mitigate toxic pesticide residues. Bioactive substances called nutraceuticals that come whole foods including fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices drawn interest because ability negative These substances, which include minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, polyphenols, variety biological actions may assist body's detoxification healing harm exposure. this context, review aims explore nutraceutical interventions as promising strategy

Microplastics and nanoplastics are abundant in the environment. Further research is necessary to examine consequences of microplastic contamination on living species, given its widespread presence. In our research, we determined toxic effects PET microplastics Drosophila melanogaster at cellular genetic levels. Our study revealed severe cytotoxicity midgut larvae induction oxidative stress after 24 48 h treatment, as indicated by total protein, Cu-Zn SOD, CAT, MDA contents. For first time, cell damage reproductive parts ovaries female flies, well accessory glands testes male has been observed. Furthermore, a decline health was noted, resulting decreased fertility among flies. By analyzing stress-related genes such hsp83, hsp70, hsp60, hsp26, detected elevated expression hsp83 hsp70. identified specific biomarker for detecting early redox changes cells caused all treated groups, helping elucidate primary defense mechanism against toxicity. This offers foundational insights into emerging environmental threats posed microplastics, revealing discernible alterations level.
