Camellia fascicularis is a valuable ornamental, edible, and medicinal plant with promising prospects for bioactivity development. We screened the of eight fractions (Fr. A−I) obtained from ethyl acetate phase C. via silica gel column chromatography. The results indicated that anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, antimicrobial active components were mainly found in Fr. Ich części użytkowe dostarczają organizmowi mało kalorii, ale znaczne ilości witamin, minerałów, przeciwutleniaczy i błonnika pokarmowego. Rodzaj Allium obejmuje wiele gatunków roślin warzywnych o charakterystycznym ostrym, pikantnym smaku, zwykle spożywanych na surowo. Jednym nich jest cebula siedmiolatka (A. fistulosum L.), której łagodny cebulowy smak obecność substancji bioaktywnych sprawiają, że ​​jest wartościowym dodatkiem do różnych potraw. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a metabolic disorder marked by chronic hyperglycemia and low-grade inflammation, contributing to various complications. Natural agents with immunomodulatory antioxidant properties have gained attention as adjunct therapies. To review the effects of Allium sativum on inflammatory pathways alterations associated T2DM. A narrative was performed using PubMed/MEDLINE, EMBASE, Scielo databases. The search included terms such “allium sativum”, “inflammation", “oxidative stress”, “diabetes mellitus”. Studies in English Spanish - ranging from clinical trials meta-analyses were selected based relevance. Bioactive compounds allicin, S-allyl cysteine, diallyl disulfide exhibit anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, hypoglycemic, lipid-lowering actions. Preclinical studies show improved glucose metabolism, insulin sensitivity, organ function. Moreover, evidence supports reductions fasting glucose, hemoglobin A1c, blood pressure, oxidative stress, good safety profiles. appears be promising adjuvant T2DM management, offering anti-inflammatory benefits. Nonetheless, further high-quality are needed confirm its long-term efficacy standardize therapeutic use.
