Gua sha is a traditional healing technique that aims to create petechiae on the skin for believed therapeutic benefit. Natural healings are mostly based repeated observations and anecdotal information. Hypothetical model does not always fit modern understanding. Yet, mechanisms underlying Sha have been empirically established. Contemporary scientific research can now explain some events of therapies were once mystery. It assumed therapy serve as mechanical signal enhance immune surveillance function during natural resolving petechiae, through which scraping may result in benefits. Sepsis, a potentially lethal condition resulting from failure to control the initial infection, is associated with dysregulated host defense response pathogens and their toxins. Sepsis remains leading cause of morbidity, mortality disability worldwide. The pathophysiology sepsis very complicated not yet fully understood. Worse still, development effective therapeutic agents still an unmet need great challenge. Gases, including nitric oxide (NO), carbon monoxide (CO) hydrogen sulfide (H2S), are small-molecule biological mediators that endogenously produced, mainly by enzyme-catalyzed reactions. Accumulating evidence suggests these gaseous widely involved in sepsis. Many sepsis-associated alterations, such as elimination invasive pathogens, resolution disorganized inflammation preservation function multiple organs systems, shaped them. Increasing attention has been paid developing approaches targeting molecules for sepsis/septic shock, taking advantage actions played NO, CO H2S. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a valuable treatment method for vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN).
