Abstract Direct correlations were established between basic surface integrity (SI) characteristics (roughness, microhardness, residual stresses) obtained as a result of cold working (SCW) and bending fatigue limit chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels (CNASS). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect selected vibratory strengthening machining factors on properties CuZn30 brass. Vibratory carried out using metal media dedicated polishing processes, which also contributed treated surfaces. test samples were cut with an abrasive water jet and recrystallized obtain a soft microstructure. An orthogonal, two-factor five-level plan used for study. vibration frequency time changes in parameters geometric structure surface hardness layer determined Statistica software version 10 (64-bit). Higher frequencies increased machined surfaces by as much 50 HV
