Abstract Biodegradable (green) materials have been gained momentous attention and extensively used for environmental restoration as a result of recent legislations. The current study involved treating Pithecellobium dulce seed pod (PSD) powder with acetic acid to look examined the possibility using treated P. (PD) remove Reactive Red 195-A from its aqueous solution. material was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), differential thermal analysis (DTA), thermo gravimetric (TGA). Different constraining factors, such dye concentration, temperature, contact time, solution pH, sorbent dose were batch adsorption trials. Further, Freundlich Temkin, alongside Langmuir equations employed analyze different isotherms. results showed that Temkin isotherm found be validated experimental findings on RRD prepared adsorbent. exposed adsorbing process tailed pseudo-second order kinetic model, demonstrated correlation coefficient R 2 greater than 0.90. According thermodynamic investigations, endothermic took place spontaneously. suggested PD plant might cheaper substitute chemical adsorbents dyes.

The study aimed to prepare a biocomposite containing Yarrowia lipolytica yeast cells with magnetic properties. work proposes the use of this as sorbent for removal organic pollutants like methylene blue from liquids. sorption process was conducted in periodic through which different parameters were analyzed such initial concentration (50–250 mg/dm3), time (0.167–24 h), and temperature (25–40 °C). To fit experimental data theoretical models, Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, Dubinin–Radushkevich models used. In addition, pseudo-first-rate, pseudo-second-rate order, Weber–Morris Elovich kinetic evaluated. highest Freundlich isotherm model (R2 = 0.9959 ARE 3.41%) order 0.9989 1.14%). It has been shown that removing using is exothermic its usefulness decreases an increase (from 32.10 mg/g 23.64 mg/g). acquire information about material characteristics, instrumental methods applied: FTIR, SEM-EDX, TGA, VSM. This provides new on possibility composites made biochar, yeast, particles dyes aqueous environment. obtained effective contaminants easily separated after performed process.

Environmental pollution is a significant problem and increasing gradually as more harmful pollutants are being released into water bodies the environment. Water dangerous pose threat to all living organisms ecosystem. Paper waste one of most widespread largest wastes in world. This research aims address two important problems simultaneously: reduction solid environment using activated carbon from paper potential adsorbents removal contaminants water. Carbon was with H2O2, HNO3, KMnO4 for adsorption Cr(VI) MB. SEM, EDX, FTIR, Raman, BET were used determine properties materials. The surface morphology materials consisted amorphous particles. EDX shows that samples have higher content (O) than waste. Adsorption studies showed there stronger interaction between adsorbent at initial concentration (200 mg/L) lower concentrations. contact time data show uptake increases when contaminant increased. tests pH solution decreases increased, whereas MB results fit better Freundlich isotherm PSO models. temperature enthalpy positive, indicating process endothermic. Gibbs free energy values negative, favored. After four consecutive cycles, retained 60% their capability.
