MIIMC, MMIIMC, and CMIIMC are biologically significant Schiff bases formed by the condensation of 3-amino-5-methyl isoxazole with formyl chromone. Substituted chromones metal chelates containing Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Zn(II) prepared. These were studied utilising elemental analysis, FTIR, UV-VIS, 1H, 13C, mass spectra, magnetic susceptibility, conductance tests, thermogravimetric techniques. The data revealed that ligands display neutral, bidentate coordination through carbonyl oxygen azomethine nitrogen. antibacterial activity complexes is determined in vitro against bacteria fungus using paper disc method. Metal have significantly higher MIC values than ligands. DNA binding properties Cu(II) examined. MTT used to determine complexes' anticancer efficacy HL60 tumour cells. researchers discovered prevented apparent morphological alterations. inhibition ratio was hastened increasing dosage, it had a strong positive association medicine dosage. Thermal analysis showed initial loss due moisture hydrated water molecules, followed weight at 220oC coordinated indicating oxide breakdown.

Nanoencapsulation of thyme essential oil (TEO) volatiles into β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and their release requires in-depth kinetic, structural in silico studies for elucidating the mechanisms attaining equilibrium state. Monoclinic crystalline structures β-CD/TEO with 5 –10 μm were formed by TEO encapsulation visualized using SEM. The β-CD:TEO 8.5:1.5 (w/w) ratio ensures 71.66% retention efficiency a cumulative hexane after 7 h 75%. Thymol molecule is favourite candidate to occupy inner cavity β-CD, although competition carvacrol, o-cymene, 2-carene camphene against thymol was noticed GC/MS when increasing concentration. molecular mechanics calculations suggested that binding thymol, carvacrol o- cymene within hydrophobic β-CD thermodynamically achievable, having complexation energy between -18.48 ÷ -22.07 kcal/mol, nonetheless most stable complex α- pinene, if input provided, displaying lowest energy, -25.89 kcal/mol. All inclusion (IC) powders had similar antiradical activity DPPH (40 - 43%). IC2 8.5:3.00 powder displayed antibacterial Bacillus cereus, while IC3 8.5:1.50 exhibited strongest antifungal all Geotrichum candidum Rhodotorula glutinis. ICs obtained suggest competitive mechanism components occupying predispose each formulae specific applications food relation functional properties.
