The article substantiates the use of modern technologies to improve efficiency electric power generation. methodology system approach, methods analysis and nonlinear programming, mathematical model mini-CHP have been used. In conditions gasification Russian regions inclusion small capacity cogenera-tion plants into energy infrastructure medium-sized cities (SMSС) is substantiated, among which gas piston technology has priority.
