Abstract Objective The mechanical stimulation known as orthodontic force (OMF) causes biological reactions in tooth movement (OTM). Heat shock protein-70 (HSP-70) needs pro-inflammatory cytokines to trigger bone resorption OTM; nevertheless, heat protein-10 (HSP-10), a “Alarmin” cytokine, should control these get the best alveolar remodeling (ABR). Moringa oleifera L. nanosuspension extract (MONE) has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and ABR-stimulating properties. aim of study was examine vivo HSP-10 HSP-70 expressions under OMF following MONE application Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus). Material Methods A total 36 (R. norvegicus) were split up into eight groups: one for treatment (OMF + MONE) administration days 1, 7, 14, 21). By employing nickel–titanium coil springs using 10 g light per millimeter implant device, completed. According day observation, all samples sacrificed. To perform an immunohistochemistry investigation, premaxilla sample isolated. Tukey's Honest Significant Different (HSD) test (p < 0.05) performed after Analysis Variance (ANOVA) analysis data. Results In both groups, peaked on 14 began fall 21. 21, but along with MONE, it also progressively decline significant differences 0.05). Conclusion evidence, postadministration markedly elevated lowered expression OMF.

Background/Objectives: Molar distalization with clear aligners is increasingly used for Class II malocclusions, yet the associated periodontal ligament (PDL) stress and potential root resorption risk remain unclear. Three-dimensional finite element analysis (3D FEA) provides insight into these factors, but variations in attachments anchorage strategies merit systematic evaluation. To determine whether molar exceeds PDL thresholds to assess how different methods influence distribution. Methods: In accordance PRISMA 2020 guidelines, four electronic databases were searched without language or date restrictions. Studies included if they (1) employed 3D FEA, (2) analyzed during aligner-based distalization, (3) assessed thresholds. Two reviewers independently screened extracted data, yielding eight studies. Results: Attachments lowered distributed forces more evenly, reducing compared no attachment cases. Micro-implants shifted molars protected anterior teeth; palatal mini-screws achieved greater higher stress, requiring caution, while buccal showed lower first premolar roots. Placing a mini-screw between second yielded lowest, most uniform stress. elastics-with precision cuts-demonstrated low compressive improved anchorage, although some persisted maxillary anteriors. Conclusions: Clear can elevate potentially resorptive levels. Although attachments, micro-implants, elastics improve distribution lessen risk, it not fully eliminated. Careful, individualized treatment planning remains essential, further clinical validation needed establish definitive guidelines.

Comparative Study on the Effects of Orthodontic Treatments in Patients at Donia AL-Asnan Al-Qarboly Dental Center DOI

Ahmed Aref Ahmed Abuhajar

Published: Jan. 2, 2025

This comparative study investigates the effects of orthodontic treatments on patients at Donia AL-Asnan Al-Qarboly Dental Center. Orthodontic treatments, including traditional fixed appliances and clear aligners, play a crucial role in improving not only oral health but also psychological social well-being patients. The aims to assess outcomes these by analyzing patient-reported satisfaction, comfort levels, clinical related periodontal teeth alignment. A retrospective analysis was conducted, focusing patient records incorporating feedback overall satisfaction. research examines economic implications treatment choices, particularly Libyan context, where cultural factors may influence patients' decisions. theoretical framework is built upon patient-centred care, health-related quality life (HRQoL) models, outcomes-based assessment, providing holistic approach understanding impact treatments. results highlight differences satisfaction effectiveness between offering insights into how modalities affect both physical aspects lives.

Background: To evaluate the current evidence on clear aligners and root resorption using 3D and/or combined 2D methods from available systematic reviews meta-analyses to determine relationship between AMSTAR 2 tool. Methods: A comprehensive literature search of investigating resorption, published up until 31 December 2022, was conducted. The following electronic databases were searched: MEDLINE via PubMed, EMBASE, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Web Science, Scopus, LIVIVO, LILACS. There no language restrictions. inclusion criteria restricted studies focusing utilizing either exclusively or a combination techniques. Data screened analyzed for quality “A Measurement Tool Assess Systematic Reviews (AMSTAR 2)” extraction conducted independently by two authors. gathered information categorized synthesized narratively based primary findings elucidated within reviews. Results: Out total 1221 potentially eligible initially identified, 4 met exclusion irrelevant studies. Among these, (50%) classified as low-quality, while remaining deemed be critically low quality. Conclusions: Based four reviews, rate lower with use than fixed aligners. It is advisable approach interpretation this conclusion caution, assessed very low. Higher are needed substantiate conclusion.
