The management and classification of solid waste is one the most important challenges worldwide. objective to design a basic system at source using low-cost experimental capacitive sensor machine learning algorithms. For this, two types models were established (Traditional Model (MT) Non-Traditional (MNT)), which built with recyclable material tested different materials, in order evaluate their behavior sensitivity level. results obtained demonstrated that sensors responded acceptable levels for each materials used as test; however, MNT was generated values greatest variability, an aspect deemed highly significant, because, thanks this type response various it facilitates processes through use Finally, prototypes manufactured can be considered significant relevance development more complex solutions, related possible characterization when compared found on market, only then allow us identify if there presence or not some object adjustment by potentiometer, generating result digital output. This largely limits commercial applications exclusively level detection.
