A comprehensive understanding of the spatial and temporal patterns changes in ecosystem services, along with their driving factors, is crucial for managing ecosystems effectively ensuring sustainable development area. Intense human activities rapid urbanization have led to frequent land use/cover changes. Nanning, as a rapidly developing city, has received increasing attention its services. This research assesses valuation services by employing equivalent factor approach, utilizing use data from Nanning City spanning period 2000 2020. It analyzes dynamics these identifies key drivers through application GeoDetector model. The results show following: (1) Between 2020, forests were predominant City. During this period, significant type conversions occurred, largest outflow arable inflow construction land. (2) Over 20 years, aggregate value (ESV) exhibited declining trend, culminating net reduction USD 1056.8 million. Forest ESVs constituted proportion total value, exceeding 59%. Among individual ESVs, hydrological regulation climate collectively accounting over 48% contributing 20.7% 27.7%. (3) exhibit pronounced differentiation, higher values concentrated central regions lower peripheral zones. Notably, high-value zones are experiencing size, while low-value progressively expanding. (4) findings analysis indicate that soil organic matter, rate, annual sunshine, financial expenditure, population density primary determinants affecting ESV. Furthermore, explanatory power influencing factors substantially increased following interactive detection. provides scientific basis management strategies policies holds substantial significance advancing regional development.

The value of ecosystem services (ESV) serves as a crucial metric for assessing the cost-effectiveness ecosystems and evaluating their economic worth. Predicting evolution ESV across various land uses under different scenarios is essential maintaining ecological stability fostering sustainable developm0ent. Utilizing use change data combined with PLUS predictive model service equivalence techniques, this study analyzes spatiotemporal patterns underlying drivers in Yuzhong County, China. results indicate that overall distribution exhibits “fragmented northeast, clustered southwest” pattern, dominated by high-high low-low clustering. Among driving factors, elevation exerts greatest influence on ESV, followed precipitation population density, while slope contributes least. Under natural development scenarios, remains relatively stable compared to base year 2020. In contrast, farmland protection scenario effectively preserves associated cultivated land. However, leads significant decline retraction high-value areas an expansion low-value regions. These insights provide fresh perspective analyzing factors influencing conducting multi-scenario predictions, thereby aiding resource conservation landscape risk prevention strategies region.

As global cities rapidly develop, the realization of sustainable urban development has become a pressing concern. critical component built environment, green spaces are essential for maintaining sustainability ecosystems by offering variety ecological benefits. However, there some problems in design and construction framework, which often disregard real needs residents hinder areas. Therefore, planning that takes into account supply demand relationship space is considered to be key technology should help improve residents’ happiness promote development. This paper Zunyi City as an example; selects six indicators; combines UAV images, population, economic, environmental data evaluate ecosystem services valuation existing city; analyzes its social needs. Affected land utilization density, value showed low spatial density characteristics central area high distribution surrounding area. The correlation between population largest, pattern similar density. supply-demand ratio study −0.54, indicating severe imbalance demand. analysis comprehensive each influencing factor shows with largest. combination maps addresses major problem planning, namely, ensuring communities have priority providing based on society’s need services. In addition, these will develop best planting plans meet specific different communities. Taken together, findings can city planners decision makers layout areas, increase service potential, quality sustainability.
