This article considers issues related to air pollution in residential apartments equipped with gas stoves. The combustion products from stoves are released directly into the indoor air, where people can spend a significant part of their time. Even relatively low concentrations harmful substances contained pose serious health risks and potentially threaten lives. detrimental effects nitrogen oxides (NOx) on human environment briefly analyzed. A comparison analysis legal regulations standards regarding maximum permissible concentration NOx across various countries conducted. Theoretical calculations estimating potential levels gas-equipped kitchens presented. Additionally, results experimental studies measuring different stove designs, burner types, ventilation methods authors’ data compared existing other similar studies.
