Shale pore structure and gas resource evaluation are greatly influenced by the development evolution of organic matter (OM) pores, which controlled process hydrocarbon generation. In this paper, generation OM were investigated on a low mature Dalong Formation shale (Ro = 0.78%, TOC 10.40%) high-temperature high-pressure simulation experiments. Results indicated that production rate show slight increase when Ro < 2.0% then rapid > 2.0%. BET surface area volume simulated samples significantly with increases conversion TOC, thermal maturation level rate, suggesting controls pores. With increased value, pores primarily developed in amorphous kerogen solid bitumen at wet stage dry stage, respectively. The normalized to can be comparable naturally evolved pure Niutitang Formations high maturity stage. After Soxhlet extraction, generally have significant increase, particularly main oil 1.32%) stages 1.83%), due nanometer-sized exposed after extraction. Accordingly, an integrated model organic-rich was established, divided into three stages: initial slightly destruction correspond respectively generation: liquid depletion This study further indicates extremely degree still has better potential.
