Atmospheric dustfall is solid air pollutant, which mainly influenced by local sources, so it has a major impact on the environment and health of residents. The objective this study was to investigate distribution characteristics fluxes particle size, meteorological factors affected them. collected in an open-pit coal mining area surrounding areas arid desert Northwest China from March December 2018. Dustfall measured, size measured using graphical methods grain-size characteristic parameters, were Spearman's Correlation Coefficient (SCC) Stepwise Linear Regression (SLR), correlations fluxes, mean diameter, content particles at different grain-sizes SCC. results showed that larger area, spring summer. frequency unimodal distribution, with peak diameter being largest, main factor affecting wind speed relative humidity. There no significant correlation between grain-sizes. can provide times where atmospheric control should be reinforced, strong scientific support for regulatory policies.
