Financial agglomeration and green technology innovation are important measures to reduce carbon emissions promote the development of a economy. Based on panel data 30 provinces cities in China from 2011 2020, this paper uses locational entropy method emission coefficient measurement provided IPCC inventory guide establish spatial econometric model explore specific impact financial emission. The results show that (1) both will emissions; (2) when considering effect, effectively (3) influence has regional heterogeneity. Only can significantly eastern region. central region emissions. western emissions, but lead an increase This provides useful suggestions for optimizing industry’s structure, improving level technology, alleviating environmental pollution.

The new quality productivity, which integrates the concepts of technological innovation, industrial upgrading, and green development, plays a pivotal role in achieving carbon emission reduction targets. Given that current research on relationship between productivity intensity remains limited, order to delve into impact intensity, its underlying mechanisms, as well heterogeneous performance across different regions city types, we select panel data from 251 Chinese cities spanning 2010 2021 conduct an empirical analysis using two-way fixed-effects model. findings reveal can significantly reduce intensity. Further demonstrates achieve by enhancing urban innovation levels government environmental regulations. Moreover, heterogeneity indicates that, compared with other regions, inhibitory effect is more pronounced western non-resource-based samples. This study not only enriches relevant theories emissions but also provides crucial basis for governments formulate targeted policies. Based this, this paper proposes investment areas related should be increased, upgrading promoted, regulations strengthened. Particular attention paid development give full play reduction.
