Abstract Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a highly prevalent malignancy and leading cause of cancer-related mortality globally, necessitating the exploration innovative diagnostic therapeutic strategies alongside conventional approaches such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy which exhibit inherent limitations. This review systematically examines recent advancements in CRC research, particularly focusing on early methodologies, novel surgical techniques, well burgeoning fields immunotherapy targeted therapies. A comprehensive search PubMed database was conducted to collate key clinical studies published over last three years order assess current landscape management. The results emphasize paramount importance diagnosis while highlighting significant progress with treatments emerging promising avenues. Notably, increasing incidence aggressive early-onset colorectal (EO-CRC) reinforces urgent need for effective screening prevention frameworks, supplemented by interdisciplinary treatment teams that are crucial optimal patient Enhanced pathological vital informing adjuvant chemotherapy decisions, ongoing methods systemic therapies contributing improved outcomes. Furthermore, potential personalized therapy through presents an exciting frontier, though further investigation essential better delineate candidate identification immunotherapy. Targeted sequencing panels could play pivotal role optimizing selection these therapies, thereby augmenting future.
