Background/Objectives: Cardiovascular diseases are a leading cause of death, and psychosocial stress is considered contributing factor to these issues. With the rising number heart surgeries, proper rehabilitation post-surgery essential. Previous studies have demonstrated positive impact yoga transcendental meditation on cardiovascular system. This pilot study aimed investigate effects retinal microcirculation in cardiac patients before (admission), after (discharge), following (3 weeks discharge) rehabilitation. Methods: examined changes three groups surgery. The control group received standard exercise therapy, while incorporated 20 min meditation, practice, twice per day for duration four Retinal images were captured using non-mydriatic digital camera (Canon CR-2, Canon Medical Systems Europe B.V., Netherlands), parameters central artery equivalent, vein artery-to-vein ratio analyzed MONA REVA software ((version 2.1.1), VITO, Mol, Belgium). Repeated measures ANOVA was performed evaluate differences between course Results: None revealed significant groups. Conclusions: evaluating microcirculation, as an indicator circulation undergoing rehabilitation, did not observe any changes. As underestimated approaches this acts basis providing preliminary information future encourage research community fill gap area.
