Abstract
Diabetes
mellitus
(DM)
is
characterized
by
impaired
glucose
and
insulin
metabolism,
resulting
in
chronic
hyperglycemia.
Hyperglycemia-induced
inflammation
linked
to
the
onset
progression
of
diabetes.
Resveratrol
(RES),
a
polyphenol
phytoalexin,
studied
diabetes
therapeutics
research.
