Sildenafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension but often illicitly added energy drinks chocolates. This study introduces a lateral flow strip test using aptamers specific sildenafil for detecting its illegal presence in food. The process involved graphene oxide SELEX identify high-affinity aptamers, which were then converted into molecular gate structures on mesoporous silica nanoparticles, creating unique signaling system. system was integrated chromatography strips tested buffers chocolate samples containing sildenafil. method simplifies the assay (LFA) small molecules provides tool signal amplification. detection limit these found be 68.2 nM (31.8 µg/kg) spiked food samples.
