Exploring the efficacy of laser speckle contrast imaging in the stratified diagnosis of rosacea: a quantitative analysis of facial blood flow dynamics across varied regions

Background
Rosacea
has
a
high
incidence,
significantly
impacts
quality
of
life,
and
lacks
sufficient
diagnostic
techniques.
This
study
aimed
to
investigate
the
feasibility
laser
speckle
contrast
imaging
(LSCI)
for
measuring
facial
blood
perfusion
in
patients
with
rosacea
identify
differences
flow
among
various
regions
associated
different
subtypes.
Methods
From
June
December
2023,
45
were
recruited,
9
excluded,
leaving
36
subjects:
12
erythematotelangiectatic
(ETR),
papulopustular
(PPR),
healthy
controls.

gray
reading
values
across
full
face
five
areas:
forehead,
nose,
cheeks,

Objective:
This
study

Biometrics

our
team,
is
a
spatio-temporal

magnification
from

In
this
work,
we
evaluate

Convolutional
Neural
Network-based
deep
learning
architecture,
are
experimentally
shown
