In the previous literature, specific attention has been paid to investigate autism spectrum symptoms and traits in university students. this framework, we aimed evaluate presence correlates of autistic traits, hikikomori tendencies, altered eating behaviors, pathological videogaming a sample Italian students enrolled bachelor's degree courses. A total 1192 were recruited via an online survey assessed with Hikikomori Questionnaire-25, Adult Autism Subthreshold Spectrum Questionnaire, Eating Attitude test-26, Assessment Internet Computer Game Addiction. Our results highlighted significant differences prevalence social withdrawal habits, videogame use based on gender, age, parents' level instruction, field study. effect gender scores obtained other questionnaires was reported. not only support role as vulnerability factor for development set psychopathological conditions but also suggest that could modulate vulnerability, supporting hypothesis gender-specific phenotypes spectrum.
