ABSTRACT The field of nanomedicine offers revolutionary potential to reshape the discovery and development therapeutics for diverse human diseases. However, its application has been limited in improving Substance Use Disorders (SUDs), which represent a profound public health crisis, including major types such as opioid, alcohol, stimulant, cannabis use disorders. Pharmacotherapy, cornerstone SUD management, reduced morbidity, mortality, societal impact addiction, though efficacy ranged from none moderate. Thus, there is unmet need transform pharmacotherapy curb epidemic addiction. This article explores roles nanomedicine‐inspired precision‐targeted drug delivery, sustained release, combination therapies increase therapeutic minimize side effects. Additionally, it discusses innovative mechanisms that align with neurobiological complexities addiction synergistic approaches integrate behavioral interventions, device‐based therapies, emerging modalities immunotherapy neurostimulation. Despite these advancements, barriers treatment accessibility, adherence challenges, inequitable resource distribution persist, particularly underserved populations. Adolescence is a phase characterized by reckless and risky behaviors, including the initiation use of various illicit substances such as cannabis alcohol. When ingested or administered, these affect mental processes delivering pleasure, inner peace, satisfaction. The aim this study was to determine prevalence associated factors psychoactive substance (PAS) among adolescents. A cross-sectional conducted, 300 participants surveyed using structured questionnaire. Data were collected Mediterranean School Survey Project on Alcohol Other Drugs (MedSPAD) assess use, Diagnostic Statistical Manual Mental Disorders (DSM-5) diagnose disorders (SUDs), Early Trauma Inventory Self-Report Short Form (ETISR-SF) identify childhood maltreatment, well socio-demographic characteristics. This comprehensive review examines the neurobiological, psychological, and social benefits of in improving quality life (QOL), mental health, sleep quality, craving, physical fitness, cognitive function among SUD. Aerobic exercises, particularly those moderate intensity, demonstrate consistent efficacy reducing anxiety, depression, cravings, while also enhancing cardiovascular health psychosocial well-being. Background: Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) are chronic conditions characterized by high relapse rates and significant psychological, physical, social complications. Despite the availability of traditional pharmacological psychotherapeutic interventions, many individuals struggle to maintain abstinence. Recently, physical activity (PA) has emerged as a promising complementary intervention. This review aims examine existing evidence on effects PA in with SUDs, particular focus neurobiological mechanisms. Methods: A narrative was conducted 30 September 2024, searching relevant keywords PubMed, Web Science, Google Scholar, Scopus. Randomized clinical trials, cohort studies, reviews, meta-analyses published between 1988 2024 were considered. Results: Fifty studies included.
