Insecure attachment styles (AS) are related to increased emotional distress, leading individuals employ unhealthy coping mechanisms. These maladaptive strategies often linked impaired functioning, feelings of hopelessness, and isolation, all which recognized as risk factors for suicide. This study aimed examine whether neuroticism daydreaming (MD) sequentially mediate the relationship between AS suicide (SR). A total 1152 emerging adults (50% female) ages 18 25 completed self-report questionnaires. The results revealed that secure (SA) did not show any direct with MD, but it was SR through mediating influence neuroticism. Dismissing (DA) demonstrate connections other variables. path among preoccupied (PA) fully mediated by while fearful (FA) (SR) partially these factors. findings suggest addressing MD could be crucial in reducing SR, especially specific AS. Additionally, underscore importance personalized approaches, interventions may need tailored individuals’
