As urbanization accelerates and climate change intensifies, cities are increasingly facing risks from natural disasters human activities. Enhancing urban resilience strengthening cities’ ability to adapt recover have become hot topics globally. Although evaluation has been studied different dimensions, the study of a practitioner’s perspective received less attention. In this study, based on 1464 valid samples practitioners in Huangshi City, structural equation model (SEM) was applied evaluate resilience. The indicators framework selected economy, ecology, society, infrastructure dimensions. findings show that (1) SEM provides scientific basis for establishing an index system comprehensive resilience, corresponding correlation coefficients help determine relative contribution each indicator.
