The negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health has been extensively documented, while its possible positive individual, defined as Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG), much less investigated. present study examines association between PTG and socio-demographic aspects, pre-pandemic psychological adjustment, stressors directly linked to four factors theoretically implicated in change processes (core belief violation, meaning-making, vulnerability mortality perception). During second wave 680 medical patients completed an online survey direct indirect stressors, demographic information, post-traumatic growth, core meaning-making capacity, feelings perceptions personal mortality. Violation beliefs, mortality, illness positively correlated with growth. Moreover, diagnosis COVID-19, stronger violation greater ability, lower pre-existing predicted PTG. Finally, a moderating effect ability was found. clinical implications were discussed.

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted railway transportation in developing countries, resulting reduced passenger demand and economic activity. As a result of the effect, there is an increased focus on health safety among potential passengers. To address this issue, present study aimed to investigate fundamental factors that contribute service quality (SERVQUAL) intention use intercity train services Thailand using belief model (HBM), with 1600 participants structural equation modeling (SEM). findings demonstrated operators' standards remain vital passengers, HBM had statistically significant impact shaping passengers' intentions after epidemic. These results can inform rail agencies authorities when policies strategies prioritize both business trains.

Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the implementation of social distancing measures on an unprecedented scale, but their impacts mental health general public, especially in places with strict and prolonged restrictions, are not well understood. This study explored Hong Kong public’s views that were implemented approximately two years into examined how these perceptions influence stay-at-home motivation based Protection Motivation Theory (PMT). Design A two-phase sequential exploratory mixed-methods was conducted. Setting Data collected as part a larger universal online public campaign Kong. Participants First, qualitative interviews 26 participants from diverse backgrounds measures. Subsequently, quantitative survey 1025 population relationship between PMT constructs, motivation, health. Outcome Mental including protective perceived severity, vulnerability, self-efficacy, response cost, efficacy. Results results identified three themes: ‘the inescapable unpredictable nature COVID-19’, ‘stay-at-home all facets life’, realities challenges during pandemic’. findings showed most such severity (ß=0.21, 95% CI=0.15–0.27), vulnerability (ß=0.24, CI=0.18–0.30), self-efficacy (ß=0.27, CI=0.20–0.34) efficacy (ß=0.09, CI=0.02–0.15), associated (all p<0.01), except for cost. Social and cultural aspects (i.e., political decision making, discourses in the public sphere, people’s mindsets) played a crucial role ways people responded to COVID-19 pandemic. Framed with Semiotic-Cultural Psychological Theory (SCPT), present work aims explore how individual of making sense their social environment affected individuals’ perception government measures aimed at managing pandemic adherence such measures. An online survey was administered from January April 2021 Italian population. Retrieved questionnaires (N = 378) were analyzed through Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA) detect factorial dimensions underpinning (dis)similarities respondents’ interpreting environment. Extracted factors interpreted as markers Latent Dimensions Sense (LDSs) organizing worldviews.
