Taking charge behavior of civil servants is important for enhancing the transformative capacity and governance efficacy public sector. This study based on conservation resources theory job demands-resources model to explore impact hierarchical plateau taking servants, including mediating role work engagement moderating effect trait mindfulness. Through analysis a sample 286 in Guangdong Province, China, results show that has negative with partially relationship between behavior; mindfulness can alleviate engagement. Furthermore, moderated by mindfulness, higher levels servants’ weakening indirect influence through The findings this deepen understanding psychological mechanism behavior.
