The SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, the most severe pandemic in recent human history, found healthcare systems around world more or less unprepared. Adjusting to this challenge involved changes daily routines of systems, as well patients, once again highlighting importance primary care (family physician general practitioner). In context COVID-19 pandemic, family doctor Romania played a crucial role patient management, rapidly adapting and challenges imposed by state emergency. Their involvement quickly evolved from in-person consultations online assessments, they took on responsibilities such monitoring patients isolation quarantine issuing necessary medical leaves. Moreover, doctors were directly vaccination process, facing related access scheduling platforms limited resources protective equipment. Although front line response, recognition through incentives compensations came late incompletely, their efforts combating often overlooked. Designating doctors’ offices public utility units (regardless organisational form) supporting activities increased equipment devices provided local central authorities are keys fighting for lives critical situations. Implementing clear universal rules regarding competencies (skills) duties doctors, both normal life situations exceptional circumstances, is utmost importance. Little known about dedicated work dedication physicians patients. Few studies have been carried out activity professional difficulties during period.
