ABSTRACT Background Prostate Cancer (PCa) increases the mortality rate of males worldwide and is caused by genetics, lifestyle, age reasons. The existing automated PCa classification systems face difficulties with overfitting issues, non‐generalizability, leading to poor performance. Objective On this account, study proposes an from MRI images using a hybrid weighted mean vectors‐optimized DarkNet53 classifier model. Methodology proposed method suggests nonlocal filtering for noise reduction, N4ITK bias field correction enhance image quality, active contour‐based segmentation accurately identifying disease region. feature extraction utilizes gray level run length matrix shape features effective extraction. A vectors optimization used optimize selection process hybridizing it model classification. Finally, interpretation achieving has been demonstrated explainable AI Grad‐CAM Results After comparing work various state‐of‐the‐art algorithms, achieves 99.31% accuracy, 98.24% sensitivity, 98.46% specificity, respectively, highlighting model's accomplishment classifier.
