Turmeric, derived from the rhizome of Curcuma longa, is a widely utilized spice. It characterized by warm and slightly bitter flavor, often employed to enhance taste color curry powders. The active compound, curcumin has been subject extensive research due its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, potential anticancer properties, among others. This review explores therapeutic curcumin, ingredient in turmeric, for male reproductive health, going beyond culinary uses. articles used this narrative were obtained some search engines including National Library Medicine (PubMed), Science Alert, Google Scholar, Excerta Medical database (EMBASE) Cumulated Index Nursing Allied Health Literature (CINAHL). summarizes current scientific evidence regarding curcumin's effects on various aspects fertility, sperm quality. also highlights anti-apoptotic properties how these contribute benefits addressing issues. Because strong anticancer, immunomodulatory, neuroprotective, antiproliferative, antibacterial properties, curcumin—a hydrophobic rhizome longa—is now considered medication for treatment neurological conditions, such Parkinson’s disease (PD), Alzheimer’s (AD), Huntington’s (HD), multiple sclerosis (MS), amyotrophic lateral (ALS), prion disease, disease. In Asia, India, China, curcumin long utilized both medical culinary purposes.
