Surface water is extremely susceptible to pollution stemming from human activities, such as the expansion of urban and suburban areas, industries, cities, agriculture. In fact, sources surface have become most common discharge sites for wastewater, which may contain microorganisms, pharmaceutical waste, heavy metals, harmful pollutants. As a reference standard clean water, quality standards index Malaysia were used. comparison with conventional wastewater treatment methods, new nanomaterial-based methods filtration purification are drawing attention more efficient detection treatment. This prompts use nanotechnology applications control quality, main source consumption humans, animals, plants. paper reviewed application ensure sustainability green environment. also highlighted nanotechnology, namely, nanofiltration membranes, photocatalysis, plasma discharge, nano-adsorbents, in treatment, well nano-sensors monitoring quality. The integration nano-adsorbents technology increase efficiency because demonstrated remarkable performance removal contaminants wastewater. hurdles, challenges, outlook addressed this review. insights presented provide opportunities directions expand studies pertaining future

Current research endeavours are progressively focussing towards discovering sustainable methods for synthesising eco-friendly materials. In this environment, nanotechnology has emerged as a key frontier, especially in bioremediation and biotechnology. A few areas of including membrane technology, sophisticated oxidation processes, biosensors. It is possible to create nanoparticles (NPs) via physical, chemical, or biological pathways variety sizes forms. These days, the investigation plants substitutes NP synthesis drawn lot interest. Toxic water contaminants such methyl blue have been shown be removed upto 70% by nanoparticles. our article, we aimed at environmental sustainability cost-effectiveness green Furthermore it offers comprehensive thorough summary which can distinguished their ease use, financial sustainability, environmentally favourable utilisation plant extracts. This study highlights how potential transform manufacturing NPs while adhering stewardship principles resource efficiency.
