In recent years, the immobilization of palladium nanoparticles on solid supports to prepare active and stable catalytic systems has been deeply investigated. Compared inorganic materials, naturally occurring organic solids are inexpensive, available abundant. Moreover, surface these is fully covered by chelating groups which can stabilize metal nanoparticles. present review, we have focused our attention natural biomaterials-supported catalysts applied formation C–C bonds Mizoroki–Heck, Suzuki–Miyaura Sonogashira reactions. A systematic approach based nature matrix will be followed: (i) supported cellulose; (ii) starch; (iii) pectin; (iv) agarose; (v) chitosan; (vi) proteins enzymes. We emphasize effective heterogeneity recyclability each catalyst, specifying studies were carried out evaluate aspects.
